Outfitter Sling Hardware-Free Shotgun Sling

The field-proven Outfitter Sling™ is available in a special design to fit over and under or side by side shotguns.  It is a single-loop design just like the rifle versions which allows for full sliding adjustment.  Once adjusted, completely tight or over-the-shoulder loose, you can rest easy knowing it will stay secure until you decide to adjust it again. 

The Outfitter Sling shotgun sling is designed to address the shoulder pain created from our over & under receivers when carried broken open over our shoulder.  With this sling installed, your shotgun behaves just like your favorite rifle - extremely stable and friendly in the field.  If you've ever wanted a sling for your over & under shotgun, this is the one to have.

This sling uses a leather constrictor loop on the barrels, and a loop behind the pistol grip to provide secure attachment.  It utilizes our wide shoulder pad found in the Cobra model, and features the new locking slider.  The leather is bridle leather, a very high quality leather suited to high end shotguns.  The shoulder pads are stitched one at a time, fully lined with split leather, all from hand picked hides.  Since the foundation is a full sling, the shotgun stays stable and resists twisting when over your shoulder. 

During use, you can tighten the sling to prevent any sway from influencing their swing pattern.  Since it is designed for break-open style firearms, you can reload with the sling completely tight.  Also, since shotguns are pointed, not aimed, the loop around the barrel doesn’t detract from shooting performance.  This is a much better solution than drilling holes in the stock of an expensive weapon.  Outfitter Slings™ are hand made in Bozeman, Montana.
