What is the breaking strength of D-Belts?

Let's talk about why you would ever ask such a question.  This is important.  Please read this FAQ.

I might just need to "clip in" and bail out someday.

The whole "I wear this belt just in case I have to clip in" thing is pure BS.  Unless your name is Bond, James Bond.

We use a normal parachute buckle vs. the V-style because we don't want you clipping into your belt.  That is one of the most ridiculous things we have ever heard, and a great way to break your back.

This belt is an Urban Tactical Belt.  It's made for everyday wear, holding up your concealment gear, and it is both vertically stiff and comfortable.  It rocks and totally kicks other belts butts.  Try one, if you don't like it send it back.

OK, so what is the breaking strength anyway?

We use Mil-Spec webbing that is rated at 6,000 lbs.  This doesn't include the strength of the additional liner portion we add.  The buckle is also Mil-Spec from Bourdon Forge, the top buckle forge in the USA, and certified to 5,000 lbs.  We don't skimp on the materials or the construction.

We will never rate the pull strength of these belts.  We can tell you that typically, this style of construction will fail around 1,500 pounds because the stitching will fail.  We'll also bet you any adult beverage our stitching will likely exceed the pain threshold of your back.

This is a tactical belt for tactical use and concealment, not a piece of wanna-be James Bond "escape from a burning building" gear.

You want a great belt that looks subtle, feels great to wear, and holds up your holster and gear?  You found it!
